Project Search Graduation 2026
Four students from Gautier High School and Pascagoula High School were recognized as graduates of the Project SEARCH Class of 2026 during commencement ceremonies held at Singing River Hospital.
Project SEARCH is a collaboration between Singing River Health System, the Pascagoula-Gautier School District, and the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services. The program empowers young adults with disabilities to gain and maintain meaningful employment through hands-on training and career exploration.
Students honored include Carlaisha A. Tubbs of Gautier High School and Derrick D. Clark Jr., Marcus J. Richardson, and Hunter T. Worbington of Pascagoula High School. The program is led by PGSD teacher Dr. Leslie Beaugez, who serves as the Project SEARCH instructor, with Michele King providing job skills training.
Project SEARCH offers real-world work experience combined with instruction in employability and independent living skills, helping participants successfully transition into productive adult lives.
All four students have been offered employment within the community. We are incredibly proud of our students’ accomplishments and grateful for the continued partnership with Singing River Health System and the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services for their assistance in helping the PGSD provide valuable training and employment opportunities for our students.
